When this card is sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 2 "Fluff Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position. These Tokens cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon during the turn they are Special Summoned.

no rulings where available

this cute sunflower like thing is a card that makes 2 tokens when it is send to the graveyard that can be used as tribute for anything. With this skill this card has been put in every deck that works with monsters that need tributes. The most know are monarchs

I will go over some ways of getting him out and to make the best of this card

ways of searching it and getting it 2 your hand
sangan: When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, add 1 monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand.

Violet witch: When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, add 1 Plant-Type monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand.

Botanic girl: When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can add 1 Plant-Type monster with 1000 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand.

gold sarcophagus: Select and remove from play 1 card in your Deck. During your second Standby Phase after this card's activation, add the removed card to your hand.

these are the most practical ways of getting him to your hand (there may be more but these are the most important)

Ways of getting him directly to the field from your deck are
Lonefire blossom: ce per turn, you can Tribute 1 face-up Plant-Type monster to Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your Deck.

[color=orangeGiant Rat : When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 EARTH monster with an ATK of 1500 or less in face-up Attack Position from your Deck. Then shuffle your Deck.[/color]

foolish burial is a way of activating its eff immediately
foolish burial: Select 1 monster from your Deck and send it to the Graveyard.

this card works great with creature swap since its eff activates from the graveyard
creature swap: Each player selects 1 monster they control and switches control of those monsters with each other. Those monsters cannot change their battle positions for the rest of this turn.
The tokens created from Dandylion can also be used for this

since this cards eff is not optional it can not miss timing so we can use pollinosis pollinosis: Tribute 1 Plant-Type monster. Negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card, or the Normal or Special Summon of a monster, and destroy that card.

here are some easy ways of getting to use its eff again once it has been send to the graveyard

since its eff is not optional and its atk is under 500 we can use debris dragon to summon it from the graveyard and than use it to synchro summon black rose dragon and summon dandylions tokens again
debris dragon: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 monster with 500 or less ATK from your Graveyard in Attack Position. That monster's effect(s) is negated. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster. The other Synchro Material Monster(s) cannot be Level 4.

since its atk is under 100 we can use limit reverse
limit reverse: Select 1 monster with 1000 or less ATK from your Graveyard, and Special Summon it in Attack Position. If that monster is changed to Defense Position, destroy it and this card. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is destroyed, destroy this card.Note: when your opponent activates a card eff to destroy your limit reverse and dandelion is in the grave than chain limit reverse and get dandylion back from the grave so when limit is destroyed and dandylion is destroyed with it you will get your 2 tokens.

you can also use gigaplant to get him back after you already used its tokens to summon this card your previous turn
gigaplant: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:
● Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Insect-Type or Plant-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard.

just like any card you can get him back with call of the haunted
call of the haunted: Select 1 monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When this card is removed from the field, destroy the monster. When the monster is destroyed, destroy this card.Note: just like with limit reverse, chain it to a eff that will destroy it and get dandylion back for 2 tokens

and last you can also use these 2 to get him back from the graveyard
lord poison: When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard, except "Lord Poison".Miracle Fertilizer: Once per turn, you can select 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it. You cannot Normal Summon or Set the turn you Special Summon a monster with this effect. If a monster Special Summoned by this effect is removed from the field, destroy this card.
one more fun trick with this card is to have The world tree on the field when he is on the field
the world tree: Each time a Plant-Type monster(s) on the field is destroyed, place 1 Flower Counter on this card. You can remove Flower Counters to activate this card's effects. ● Remove 1: Target face-up Plant-Type monster gains 400 ATK and DEF until the End Phase. ● Remove 2: Destroy 1 card on the field. ● Remove 3: Select 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard and Special Summon it. So when dandylion is destroyed he will get its first counter than when dandylions tokens are destroyed he will get 2 more which means that it now has 3. So next turn you can remove these tokens to just summon dandylion once again and than when he and his tokens are destroyed again it will have 3 counters again and so you can summon dandylion once again and so and so on

here is a example of a deck that makes the most out of dandylions eff and uses nearly all the tips I gave

Didnt read the article clearly, since dandy is one of my fav cards and i really love abusing it, but i noticed one serious mistake, in that black rose part.... tokens are not destroyed, because when u synchro for rose dandy is sent to grave, and then rose eff kicks in chain as chain link 2, therefore rose eff activates first and dandy second, so its really cool, u blow up the field and get 2 tokens ^^

Dandylion is EARTH, try Giant Rat instead.

Good ways to activate Dandy is through mills, such as Card Trooper and LS
