So, I've been going to my local tournaments and watching people try to run Six Samurai. It's kinda funny how bad some people's starting hands can be with the samurais. Here is my list, tell me what you think.

Monsters:

This is a relatively fast deck. It allows me to get monsters to the field within a few turns. It stops effects with the right cards in play and has walls to prevent your opponent from countering at all.

So far, I have only pulled two bad hands, Grandmasters stacked and Shoguns stacked. The BoM, Solid, and ATH are just fillers for now.

ATM I don't have a side deck, but I'm working on one. So far it consists of 3 Kamons and a Sakuretsu.

Can anyone make any changes? If anyone wants explanations on why there are or aren't certain cards, I'll answer.

I dont get your base here. Why would I do this? Wouldn't it slow the whole deck down? I do need a second bottomless to replace ATH. I don't understand why I'd remove Starlight road for something like My Body as a Shield.

Starlight is situational, shogun is slow, my body is alot faster then starlight imo, with heavy storm gone idk is starlight is needed so infact he made some good fixes

lol starlight lost like 40% of usefullness since heavy was banned and gained some back since rose wasnt

hows shogun slow T_T

well rays fixes are about as good as u can get

as for side
get ride of the sams and add
2 starlights
2 d.d crows
2 effect vielers
ect ect

edit:
my body as a sheild is very very usefull cuz if ur opp gets DAD then u can defend urself

about starlight,its alright,i mean he doesnt have to play a starlight in his deck,but 1 starlight is ok,yeah maybe heavy is gone,but there are still cards like torrential tribute,dark hole and black rose... tho Starlight is for me always a deaddraw -.- 8D. and 3 of each gate and united is too much,trust me thisll cause a deaddraw aswell...imo play 2 of each.
and monsters:
Make it:
3x zanji
2x irou
2x yaichi
3x Grandmaster
2x Hand
1x Spirit
1-2(your decision (: )x Shogun
1x Enishi (if you wanna) 8D

plus if you want you can add 2-3 Genex Ally Birdman(s)...
WHY? coz it works very well with the combo with grandmaster...
if you have grandmaster and any other six sam on your field,you can return grand to your hand to summon genex,and then u can summon grand again,and if you have,you can special summon one more genex,and so on...xD 8D8D


about the traps,id remove saku and acid trap hole,and add 1 more d. prison and one more bottomless.
spells: - 1 the warrior returning alive +1 reasoning...8D

Thanks for the criticism guys. Ok, the Starlight, just like Joker stated, is for Torential and Dark Hole. The deck works so that when I go first, I've already got A samurai, grandmaster, and shogun all on the field. Starlight has saved me a few times already. Plus, then I get a stardust which would be a better my body as a shield.

If I were to stick in Genex ally Birds, I'd probably drop Solidarity and maybe a Great Shogun.

but dont forget that,if you summon stardust with starlights effect,and use stardusts effect to negate a card which destroys, YOU CANNOT! SUMMON HIM AT YOUR End Phase.

Hmm. Good to know. Thank you for that little tidbit of information. If I Book of Moon Stardust and then reflip him, will he get his effect? Or, is that a way to stop an opposing Stardust Dragon?

No stardust stays stardust, rofl.

No Giant Trunade? Trap Stun? Cold Wave? They are obvious cards for this type of deck.

Trunade means win. Also 3 shogun is overkill. You don't draw it as a dead card ever?

I only drew it as a dead card once. It was stacked. Many times I've started with 2 a grandmaster and a six samurai of some sort. I've only lost with it twice in about 3 months

just to clarify the ruling on SLR, the stardust that is summoned will not be able to be summoned back to the field after using its effect on the field because it was not properly synchro summoned, it was only special summoned from the extra deck.

As for the deck, i think you've gotten some good advice already so follow those
