Can turn off Latest Topic Gadget?

Seriously it is causing major slowdown on my computer.... I usually have at least 4-8 tabs open at all times and when I have that many open at any given time with the latest topic Gadget going constantly it slows down everything!

Is there a way to disable it?

Well preferably dont have many tabs open for this forum at the same time, cause latest topics makes it lag
And no theres no way to disable it as far as i know..

u dont have to keep DAD academy open
just see what u want to see and close it
maybe its a program running and u dont realise it
download tuneup utilities if u suspect something
