Starting tonight (10:40 EST October 8th) up until 12 PM October 18th, I'll be accepting any and all duel challenges from all who read this.
I am mostly doing this for two reasons.
One is to be a hopeful winner of Duelist of the Week (#12), the other is to advocate the kick off of Scholars Duel Academy, an academy I have long since delayed to start. It'll serve as the Headcase's School of Hard Knocks collaborate academy for advanced duelists. HSoHK is served more for teaching the foundations of YuGiOh, while Scholars Duel Academy is for much more advanced concepts that make YuGiOh. With a devoted staff, I'm proud to announce ScA's opening.
If you wish to challenge me to a duel, not only will you be judging my skill in case that's something I can provide to get your vote in the 12th DotW, but I'll also be evaluating your dueling and serve your challenge as also a test for ScA. The test for ScA is similiar to all other academy tests, except no one can get into the top dorm with the opening test. That way everyone most work to prove that they ARE in fact the best.
If you can prove yourself at Scholar's, then you have definite prestige. ScA is the best of the best. If you truly impress me, I'll put you in the middle dorm, Shining Justice, otherwise I guarantee you a spot in Divine Balance.
Otherwise this challenge serves as a personal endeavor too. I'll be trying to improve my own skill and possibly proving my skill to those that challenge me.
I'll be using four to five decks over and over (different for each match) in various orders. All meta decks such as Lightsworn, Stun, Zombie, and the like. I could try to "impress" you with a "unique" deck, but that says nothing about how I wield with decks that basically run the competitive scene.
All duels will have the same rules as most Academy test rules and particularly ScA test rules:
- Best 2 out of 3.
- Side-decking allowed.
- If we agree on it before the duel, shuffle our hands. (This is often to combat the KCVDS shuffler)
- Sportsmanship advocated. We're all equals.
- Don't use some OTK/FTK deck. If you choose to be tested, I'm not testing you on how good you can OTK/FTK. If you're just challenging me, OTK/FTK isn't that fun to deal with and hardly fair on my end since you're judging me on how well I lose in one turn. :l
Good luck to everyone.
If you wish to participate in this, join only ONE of these hamachis. If you get in one, DON'T join the other.
