I'm soon to do an exit project that counts for a major part of my science grade and i am soon to graduate to the 6th grade (jk) so i thinking i should do a catapult

so i need some variables for the trials in which ill launch the items for distance (im thinking a 15-20 pound counterweight for the tests) so i need some items and that's why im asking you guys.some i already plan in using are:
Whiffle Ball: 2/3 of an ounce
Tennis ball: 2 Ounces
Baseball: 5 ounces
Softball: 7 ounces
So guys i want to hear what you think and what should i add or remove from that list
PS: im thinking of painting it like with spray paint so i want to know what colors would look nice (very simple mot like abstract swirls XD)
